Stageway, All Things Live Norway presents: The Nordic Floyd Show - Animals + Classics
Animals + Classics
In 2027 The Nordic Floyd Show (TNFS) delivers their most extensive production ever: ANIMALS + CLASSICS! Here you get a brutal and intensely beautiful interpretation of the album ANIMALS - the fan favourite from the golden age that celebrates its 50th anniversary. Who would have thought that the album's themes would be just as relevant today?
As always TNFS also delivers each year a new and generous section of fantastic Floyd gems, both the immortal and greatest, but also some exclusive diamonds from the treasure chest of one of the world's greatest bands. The Nordic Floyd Show is that rare thing - a tribute with a character of its own - that seeks into the very heartstrings, delivers goosebumps and euphoria in a grand multimedia show!
It is not without reason that TNFS grew all the way to the Oslo Opera House - as the first and so far only Floyd tribute at Norway's iconic national stage! The recipe for success is always the same: grip the audience by the heartstrings, and deliver intense, detail-rich, musical and visual rawness with a magical nerve that makes you hold your breath!
About The Nordic Floyd Show
Norway's legendary Pink Floyd tribute, The Nordic Floyd Show (formerly Dark Side of the Wall/DSOTW Norway) has already achieved nirvana: being approved by their own idols. Dark Side of the Wall is the band that Roger Waters considers «F***ing brilliant», and that has played to full houses for over 20 years, among others as the first and so far only Floyd tribute show at the Oslo Opera House itself (2024).
Bergens Tidende has described the show as «Grand and impressive in every way» and «...an impressive production that absolutely belongs among the very finest of its kind.»
The band's lifelong love of Pink Floyd's music became an energy bomb from the very first rehearsal. Since then Helge Nyheim (vocals/drums), Bjarte Aasmul (guitar/vocals), Kai Taule (bass/vocals) and Dag Øivind Rebnord (keys/visual fx) have developed the concept into a sensational multimedia production. They have collaborated with guest artists such as Ian Ritchie (UK, Roger Waters' band), Sharon Gaynor (IRL, Breathe), Tine Taule and others.
