THEATRE SALON – THE INCREDIBLE STORY OF THE GIANT PEAR
This autumn, Janne and Therese are back with the Theatre Salon on the Main Stage. Once again, they will help you fill any gaps in your knowledge of literary history, authors and themes connected to our productions. It means adding a little more learning to your life’s curriculum, so you can easily impress in any social setting with your newfound knowledge. PS: No one will ever be able to tell that you haven’t actually read the literary works!
In The Incredible Story of the Giant Pear, a pear is used as a means of transport. In this Theatre Salon, Drangsholt and Eide take a closer look at the different types of transport authors have imagined throughout history and the role they play in the stories themselves. Does it matter whether the main characters travel through the story in a pear, a spaceship or an ark? And if so – how?
There will be both laughter and learning as Drangsholt explains and Eide illustrates it all with her humorous drawings.
