Danny Boyle's timeless adaptation of Irvine Welsh's acclaimed novel - back in cinemas in a fantastic newly restored version!
Ewan McGregor is Mark Renton, the most reflective member of the group which also includes the compulsive womaniser Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller) and the unfortunate Spud (Ewen Bremner). Renton's, Spud's and Sick Boy's drug problems irritate and amuse their friend Begbie (Robert Carlyle) in equal measure, a periodic psychopath whose violent outbursts are one of the many factors that convince Renton to move to London in hope of starting a new life.
