Trio Vitalis - chamber music that does good
Trio Vitalis consists of Brandt Fredriksen (piano), Sebastian Dörfler (cello) and Stefan Kölsch (violin), professor and a world-leading researcher on music, the brain and music's therapeutic effects.
On the programme are Brahms' Piano Trio No. 1 and Mendelssohn's Piano Trio in D minor, Op. 49, with short, engaging introductions on how music affects the brain, emotions and health.
Trio Vitalis combines chamber music at a high artistic level with knowledge of how music can promote wellbeing, reduce stress, capture attention and create warmth and community.
The concert series is supported by Bergen kommune.
