In connection with our series this autumn «Ukraina på Litteraturhuset» we have invited the Ukrainian author Oleksandr Mykhed (b. 1988). Mykhed is from Lviv and has written a number of novels in addition to non-fiction and writes regularly for the British newspaper The Guardian. He is currently working on volume two of a book that in English has been given the title The Language of War, a collection of short texts about the experience of war for civil society and the individual. He has also together with his father, the literary scholar Pavlo Mykhed, published a book about Ukrainian authors, which is based on a podcast they made together called Levende (Zjyvi). Oleksandr Mykhed has also written several books for children about war. Mykhed is currently serving in the Ukrainian armed forces. Meet him in conversation with Ingunn Lunde, professor at the Department of Foreign Languages at the University of Bergen.
The conversation will be in English.
