Have you ever thought about how much plastic there is in our oceans? On 10 November Studentersamfunnet invites you to "Toxic Beauty" – an interactive exhibition where you can learn about the ocean's invisible but most serious problem. The exhibition consists of scientific illustrations, sculptures and installations where audiences can learn about marine plastic pollution and how oil spills affect marine ecosystems.
The exhibition is a collaboration between UiB's environmental toxicology research group and the Faculty of Fine Art, Music and Design. During the event we get an introduction from postdoctoral researcher at UiB, Maria Fernandes Miguez, who created the exhibition, and where audiences can also walk around and explore the installations.
