Saturday 14 November the stage is set for the release party for Velcro Dog's new album 'Fjord Noir' at Kolonialen. Supporting him is none other than Peer Nic.
VELCRO DOG Velcro Dog is the solo project of the Trondheim-based musician and songwriter Tony Gonzalez (Barren Womb, Twin Serpent, Oma Desala), a project that has grown out of a gnawing need to settle accounts with both old and new demons. By creeping along the darkest corners of the americana, folk and country traditions, Velcro Dog has created an expression that can perhaps best be described as fjord noir.
PEER NIC Peer Nic released his debut album Highlands/Lowlands in 2019. Here he was joined by a star lineup of musicians and artists such as Signe Marie Rustad, Frank Hammersland, Olaf Olsen and the Macedonian Radio and Symphony Orchestra. But it was Peer's virtuoso guitar playing and heartbreaking songs that first and foremost left the critics speechless. The Australian radio station 2SER named it the world's third best release of 2019.
Welcome!
