The band has kept the wonderful Soft Ride vibe, with sunshine rock, slide guitar and country elements. Seven of the album's 9 songs have received airplay on either BBC6 or NRK P13, so most people should be able to find something to vibe to.
On the new record Richard Myklebust and Linn Frøkedal (Misty Coast, The Megaphonic Thrift) contribute backing vocals, Jonas Hamre (Malstrøm and others) has provided saxophone and Embla Karidotter sings country. Soft Ride closes the Norway tour at Victoria in the world's best city, before Sweden is next up.
Guaranteed top atmosphere on a Wednesday.
