Zum Hauptinhalt

KÅKÅnomics is the Nordic region’s leading festival for economics and politics. Held in Stavanger, the festival brings together researchers, thinkers, business leaders and an engaged audience for four days of lively conversations, heated debate and fresh perspectives on the forces shaping our society.

In an increasingly digitalised and polarised world, we choose to champion face-to-face human interaction. With around one hundred events and more than ten thousand attendees, we create an inclusive community where disagreement is welcomed and economics becomes everyone’s concern.

That is why the programme takes place in informal and intimate settings – in bars, venues and more unusual locations. At KÅKÅnomics, economics should be just as entertaining as it is important.

The festival is editorially led and carefully curated. Every event is selected because it adds value, insight and breadth to the public conversation.

Tickets

It is possible to purchase individual tickets for all events during the festival. These will become available during autumn 2026.

Festival Pass

The Festival Pass gives you free entry to all *regular events during the festival. We always reserve a number of places at events for Festival Pass holders, including sold-out events, but once capacity is reached, the event is full.

If there are particular events you definitely do not want to miss, we recommend securing your place in advance by collecting a ticket. This is done in the same way as a regular ticket purchase through the programme listings online. Tickets are marked “With Festival Pass” and cost NOK 20.

Weekend Pass

The Weekend Pass works in the same way as the Festival Pass, but is only valid for events taking place on Friday and Saturday.

Festival Wristband

The Festival Pass is exchanged for a festival wristband upon arrival. The wristband is collected from the festival office before use and serves as your admission pass to all events.

*Workshops are available at a reduced price for Festival Pass holders.

**The ticket price is set at this level to reduce unnecessary reservations and prevent so-called no-shows, ensuring that as many people as possible have the opportunity to attend.
