Wishbone Ash to Ole Bull Scene with "Road Warriors Tour"
After a number of successful tours in recent years, the British rock legends in WISHBONE ASH will hit the road again, and on Tuesday 12 January 2027 they will visit Ole Bull Scene in Bergen. The concert is part of the concert series Bergen Live Sessions.
Audiences can look forward to a diverse set that spans the band's entire remarkable career. In addition to timeless classics from Argus and the regular concert finalist Phoenix, the band turns the spotlight to the second phase of their career with songs such as You See Red, Front Page News and Lifeline. In addition, fans can expect the aptly titled epic Tales of the Wise from the fan-funded album Illuminations, as well as the powerful Underground – a song whose message celebrates the right of ordinary people to be heard through peaceful protest. The set is complemented by selected tracks from the band's more recent releases, showing that WISHBONE ASH are still looking to the future while honoring their rich musical heritage.
"The amazing thing about WISHBONE ASH is that our audience has followed us through every chapter of the band's history," says Andy Powell. "Of course, people come to hear the classics, but they are just as enthusiastic when we dig into albums from different eras. It keeps each tour fresh and reminds us of how deep the catalog has become.
WISHBONE ASH also continues to preserve and celebrate its musical legacy through an ongoing program of archival releases, with acclaimed collections such as the Living Proof box and The Vintage Years. The latest release is Live in Cologne, now available on CD and DVD, with a vinyl edition on the way.
