Wrath
Wild, vulnerable and raw — straight from the collective primal psyche. WRATH are known for their explosive live energy and unique groove, fusing the darker side of prog metal with the rough-edged sound of grunge, all drenched in reverb. Dirty riffs, dreamy vocals, piercing screams and thundering rhythms, infused with elements of Norwegian folk music and delivered with an authentic, untamed edge and a bestial force. Together, they create an aggressive yet melodic, at times chaotic and hypnotic witch’s brew that leaves you spellbound.
Jenny Rudi (guitar and vocals), Sander Skogen (drums and noise) and Aron Vagle (bass and jaw harp) hail from Rogaland. WRATH are often compared to 90s progressive alternative rock and grunge (Nirvana, Tool, Alice in Chains, Wipers, Soundgarden), melodic gothic doom/death metal (Katatonia, Entombed) and classic Nordic influences (Ulver, Gåte, traditional Norwegian folk music and dungeon synth).
In recent years, the witches of WRATH have built a loyal following among outsiders, punks, Haugafolk and metalheads in Norway’s underground music scene. Now they are ready to reach a wider audience with their debut album.
In autumn 2026, WRATH will release the singles Epitaph, Arson and Clepsydra, followed by their debut album, The Revival I.
