Zimmermann heads out on a Christmas tour
After a summer filled with festivals Zimmermann is ready to turn up the Christmas atmosphere. This winter he heads out on a Christmas tour, playing in 16 cities across the country.
The Christmas concerts have become a tradition for the 26-year-old artist. For the last three years he has played to sold-out houses, and each year the concert has grown a little. In 2023 he stood alone on stage with his guitar. The following year he was joined by a guitarist, before a pianist also became part of the team in 2025. Now he takes the Christmas concert further around the country.
Since his debut with «Månen» in 2022 things have moved fast for the Sandefjord native. The song spent 16 weeks on the A-list of NRK P1, and since then he has released songs such as «Ta med deg døra», «Ole Lukkøye» and «Griper etter halmstrå». The debut album In medias res was nominated for the Spellemannpris for «Best Breakthrough», and in 2025 he sold over 10,000 concert tickets.
In a short time he has become a crowd favourite, and in August he released «I takt med deg» together with none other than Bjørn Eidsvåg. The duet went straight to the top of the Norwegian singles chart.
With songs ranging from dreamy and sentimental ballads to catchy pop songs, storytelling has become an important part of his expression. These are songs that invite both sing-alongs and the slightly quieter moments.
It will be an intimate and personal evening, where Christmas music meets original songs and stories. Audiences will hear both Christmas favourites and what Amund himself calls «everyday music» – songs from his own repertoire.
