Zum Hauptinhalt

Bergen is much more than a picture postcard. Every street, every building has a story to tell. Follow your guide who will distill the millennium story into 80 minutes and give you practical tips on what to do in this city.

Discover Bergen’s rich contrasts as you explore some of its most defining places. At the famed Fish Market, where tradition meets modern tastes, you’ll see how food continues to connect the city’s past and present in both curious and everyday ways. Continue along the iconic waterfront and admire the colorful buildings that have become symbols of the city. Nearby stands St. Mary’s Church, Bergen’s oldest surviving building, a silent witness to nearly a thousand years of paradoxes and change. As you move through the vibrant streets of contemporary Bergen, you’ll get a feel for the city’s rhythm and the life unfolding around you. The walk concludes with a scenic photo stop at one of the best viewpoints along the waterfront, perfect for capturing the essence of Bergen.
