The trip to Atlanterhavsveien takes 45 minutes from Molde city centre and the whole trip takes 3 hours and 20 minutes.
Spectacular road
The Atlantic Road is called ‘The most beautiful road in the world’ and has also been named ‘Building of the Century’ in Norway. The road winds its way over islets, reefs and the sea, connecting the mainland with Averøy by means of eight bridges. The Atlantic Road is part of the National Tourist Routes and attracts visitors from all over the world.
There will be a 30-minute stop at Eldhusøya where you can walk a great hiking trail and get close to the sea. The path is flat and only 550 metres long.
Fishing village
The bus journey continues to Bud, a 30-minute drive. Bud is a charming fishing village located far out to sea and offers magnificent coastal scenery. We stop for 15 minutes at Ergan Kystfort.
