Songesand

Songesand is a small village by Lysefjorden, not far from Preikestolen and Kjerag in Ryfylke.

Songesand is the perfect place if you seek peace and quiet or like hiking.

To get to Songesand you can drive the unique road, with beautiful landscape and high mountains, from Årdal in Hjelmeland or arrive by boat from Lysefjorden.

Another alternative is to hike from Preikestolen Basecamp or Lysebotn. The small village is part of the DNT's signaTUR around the Lysefjord.

You can spend the night at the Bakken Gard, Songedalen Fjellgard or Songesand Camp.
