Preikestolen mountain lodge is 30 min by car, a great starting point for walks to Preikestolen. Sightseeing by boat on the Lysefjord and mountain walks on Kjerag are recommended. Should you wish a visit to more urbane surroundings, Ryfylkebyen Jørpeland is 20 km away, and it is only 12 km to Solbakk station, where you drive the sub-sea tunnel to Stavanger.
