Brewery tour at LERVIG in Hillevåg, Stavanger

It's possible to book a private tour at the brewery in the evening, both on weekdays and weekends - for groups of at least 10 people. They can also organise short production tours during office hours for small groups.

LERVIG has gradually evolved into a leading craft brewery in Norway and Europe. The brewery is today an internationally recognised brewery that extends far beyond Norway's borders. Since it opened in 2003, around 200 different beers have been brewed at LERVIG, focusing on innovation and pushing the boundaries of what beer can be. Today, their range is between 25-30 different beers, with everything from traditional Pilsner and fruity IPA to full-bodied barrel-aged stouts.

Voted one of the 100 best breweries in the world

Based on feedback given by hundreds of thousands of consumers, LERVIG has been voted one of the 100 best breweries in the world according to Ratebeer.com in 2014 and 2017, as well as having the best beer in Norway and two of the best beers in the world. In addition, they hold seven placements on the top 10 beers in Norway based on consumers' preferences. They are keen to make beers that stand out and therefore focus on taste and quality. They experiment with new flavours, combining beer with all types of food. They want people to drink less, yet drink better.

Sold to more than 30 different countries

A big part of the production at LERVIG goes to export, and it's available in over 30 different countries throughout Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Today, LERVIG is Norway's largest independent small-scale brewery with a production of about 2 million litres of beer a year. You can find their products in most of the bars and restaurants in Stavanger, in addition to supermarkets and "Vinmonopolet".  And of course, in their bottleshop at the brewery.
