Get away from the busy city life, take in the delights of a magical half-day excursion to historical and idyllic Skjerjehamn. The old trading post has hundreds of years of coastal traditions to experience, and now a new sculpture walk, The Blue Garden, that explores the impact of modern aquaculture. In the self-guided tour you will learn how salmon is farmed in Norway today, and why it will be important to the world tomorrow.

Skjerjehamn is set on a beautiful petite island, right at the port of the Sognefjord. It is an excellent choice for anyone who appreciate nature, art and culture. Stop by the gallery with changing exhibitions, on your way to the old shop on the dock where homesmoked salmon, souvenirs and snacks are for sale. Take a walk in our garden, where the majestic monument for Kong Olav V reigns. Skjerjehamn is also a popular destination for boaters, food lovers and for weekend breaks.

On board Norleds expressboats, to and from Skjerjehamn, you can enjoy the fantastic landscape from our comfortable chairs in the saloon, or stay outside on deck and enjoy the view and feel the wind in your hair. There is a cafeteria on board, they serve hot and cold beverages, food, snacks and icecream. For the children there is a small playground as well. Skjerjehamn's dock is not suited for wheelchair users. We apologize for the inconvenience.
