Smøla is proud to represent first class products from Smøla. They produces well- known carrots, award-winning honey, they make ice cream, crabs, salmon, meat from wild sheep and much more. The weekend is jam-packed with high-quality and local, fresh food and drinks as well as a diversity of exhibitors and local companies form the close and distant areas of Aure, Heim, Frøya, Kristiansund and Hitra.
The market lasts for two days, one can buy locally produced delicacies from sea to land, together with a range handcrafted products of highest quality. Here you can also experience different musical performances and an award ceremony to create lively atmosphere.
After two days of the market, a yearly concert with a short, travelled orchestra and other outstanding artists who ensures a memorable end of the weekend.
In over 20 years, Smølabonan have been a tradition which have been met with good responses from the public.
