The mountain is steep on most sides. There is a broad path up from the south-easterly side. The summit area is a relatively flat plateau where you first have a nice view into the Høgsfjord towards Dirdal. On the summit itself, you see across to the Ryfylke archipelago and the Boknafjord whilst you have Forsand and the iconic Lysefjord bridge virtually at your feet. The trip is suitable for families with children.
