Veiholmen- Edøy - Kristiansund
When you have visited Veiholmen, this beautiful bus trip will take you back to Kristiansund. From the narrow streets and magnificent view of Veiholmen, you travel back to Edøy, where you take the express boat back to Kristiansund. Remember to enjoy the unique landscape of Smøla on your trip! If you have some time in Kristiansund, there is a lot to see in this charming town on the ocean's edge. Kristiansund is known for the dried and salted cod – "klippfisk" (literally "cliff fish"). The delicious bacalao is the town's speciality, and dishes with "klippfisk" are served in all the restaurants and most cafés. This is a "Travel like the locals" tour. These tours use public transport, i.e. regular buses, ferries and boats, but we have done the planning for you and the tours are organized with connecting buses, ferries and boats, so you can concentrate on enjoying your trip. You travel on your own - there is no guide or tour leader. On most of our tours, you must change between different buses/ferries/boats several times, and it is up to you to make sure you catch your connections – you are truly travelling like a local! Due to deviations in the time tables, the tours are not available for booking on public holidays and during holiday periods such as Easter and Christmas. The time table is valid for the bookable periods.
