Unique accommodation in Romsdalen
The timber house from the 19th century was completely renovated in 2019. Here, the emphasis is on modern comfort, while the house's distinctive character is preserved. The kitchen is well equipped with a large dining area for 12 people. The living room with its timber walls and fireplace is well suited for relaxation.
The house has four bedrooms with beds from the local Wonderland beds of Norway. A stay at Østigård 1810 is self-catered, but towels, bed linen and ready-made beds are included in the price. The house has two bathrooms, one of which has a washing machine.
Østigård 1810 is located only five minutes by car from Åndalsnes, 90 minutes from Ålesund and one hour from Molde. From here you have a short distance to both Trollstigen and Romsdalseggen. The house is well suited for couples, families with children and groups of up to eight people. The length of the stay is a minimum of two nights.

Østigård 1810 has two fishing grounds in Rauma, Storhølen and Nausthola. Rauma is a historic and popular salmon river and flows through Romsdalen.
The timber house lies in short distance to all of Romsdalen's hiking opportunities. Here, the natural gems lie in a row – such as Romsdalseggen, Trollstigen and many other hidden gems – do ask for their local advises.
Romsdalen is also known for its great ski touring opportunities in the winter, as well as top ski tours cycling in the summer.
