Myrkdalen is a favorite amongst freeride enthusiasts. The reason is simple - More snow falls in Myrkdalen than almost anywhere else in Europe. The kid's area is located at the base of the resort. The area has a magic carpet for the youngest skiers, two disc lifts and three varied green slopes. There is a total of 22 slopes in Myrkdalen, for all levels. If you want to try cross-country skiing Årmotslia is located just across the road from the ski center. There are many kilometers of groomed tracks and a 5 km loop is illuminated. Why not try skiing after dark? The area around Myrkdalen also offers great terrain for off-piste and backcountry skiing. Evening skiing is available on Friday and Saturday throughout the season and every day during the winter holiday weeks.

In recent years Myrkdalen have developed their parks. You'll find four different parks with fun elements and jumps for all levels.

Kids' Slope: Reveparken

This park has small jumps and box features. It is located in the Kids’ Area and is perfect for kids and first time park riders.

Landsbyparken

This park has three different sections: beginner, intermediate and expert. It also has more elements like tubes and boxes. If there is enough snow there will be a ‘flow’ line from top to bottom.

Finne-parken

Finne-parken is located by slope 1, at the top of lift "Helgatun". Here you will find a creative line with lots of snow features designed by famous norwegian skiier Klaus Finne. It is suitable for intermediate and expert skiiers.
