Austevoll municipality comprises 667 islands, islets and skerries, 11 of which are inhabitated all year. There are holiday homes on more then 30 of them. Bridges, express boats and ferries ensure excellent communications within the municipality and with the mainland.
During summer, the tourist information is located at Bekkjarvik Torg, in the center of Bekkjarvik. The rest of the year the tourist information is located at Bekkjarvik Gjestgiveri.
