Glesvær Cafe is a cultural heritage gem that's still in full use. The traditional cafe on Holma Quay is a favourite destination for those wanting to experience a cafe from another world, another time. Anyone that's run a business in a remote location understands that both creativity and diversity are important: At Glesvær Cafe you will find a bakery, grocery store, gallery and live music venue, all under one roof. This makes for an incredibly special and quite different atmosphere in which to sip a cup of coffee.

Each year, the first weekend in January, you can experience ice-cold mayhem at "In storm and Still" festival, which includes ice-swimming and pyjama races. A little further down the quay the famous Periphery Festival takes place each year. In the café you can enjoy affordable snacks, soups, pizzas, pastas and specials each day. You can relax and watch the world go by, in the sea houses, boats, the bay and along the quay. If you're looking for a special place for a conference, a fun works do, hen night or party, we can guarantee a unique experience. Facilities: At the old trading post at Glesvær we offer cosy, historical surrounding and can accommodate groups from 2 to 65 persons. We serve salmon, crab, mussels, fish soup or other dishes by arrangement. We have various types of fresh coffee available, fresh bread from our own bakery, as well as beers, wines and spirits. Close to the café are Rutt and Arnes's beautiful sea cabins. We have accommodation for up to 46 persons. Please contact us for prices and our daily menu.

Exklusivity for groups: The restaurant can be rented exclusively by a group. This require a minimum of 35 guests
