The brick building, which was completed in 1929, was designed by architect Gustav Helland from Stavanger and was built as an assembly hall for the officials at the factory. The workers had their own house, Folkets Hus.

After an extensive renovation process, Sauda Klubb is now available to everyone. The exclusive history is well taken care of and still sits in the walls, but the house has also been given modern facilities. The mix of good comfort, architecture and design gives visitors a fantastic overall experience.

Sauda Klubb appears again as the gem it once was, but now the locals, tourists, associations, public institutions and companies can rent Sauda Klubb for small and large gatherings. The house has a unique banquet hall, living room, dining room and kitchen, as well as 38 beds in 10 modern bedrooms with private bathrooms.

From Sauda Klubb it is a short distance to Sauda ski center, cross-country trails, Saudahallen with heated outdoor swimming facilities, sports facilities, hiking trails, the fjord, the express ferry and the center of Sauda.
