In the heart of Ålesund – close to everything
Quality Hotel Ålesund is located in the centre of Ålesund, just 20 minutes from Ålesund Airport. From here, it's a short walk to the Art Nouveau architecture and to Aksla, the viewpoint that takes in the whole fjord town in a single glance. Restaurants, shops and cultural attractions are all within walking distance of the hotel. If you'd like to venture further out, the Geirangerfjord, the Hjørundfjord and Runde are all within reach as day trips – stay in town and explore the architecture on foot, or use the hotel as a base to discover the rest of the region.

The 146 rooms are spread across five floors, ranging from standard rooms of 18–20 square metres to suites of up to 45 square metres. If you're travelling with family, dedicated family rooms are available, and in summer the hotel also opens a playroom for children, along with the Social Lounge, which has games and activities for the whole family. The hotel also has wheelchair-accessible rooms. Several rooms have sea views – a good place to unwind after a day full of experiences. All rooms are non-smoking.
Breakfast, dinner and sunset by the sea
Start the day with a breakfast buffet at The Social Bar & Bistro, with gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options. In the evening, you can relax over dinner with sea views from the restaurant.
On fine summer days, the terrace is a natural gathering point. Here, you can eat and drink with the sea right in front of you, enjoy the view, and watch the sun set over Ålesund. A good place to linger a little longer than planned.

Finished with the day's sightseeing? In the Social Lounge, both adults and children can challenge their travel companions to shuffleboard, Pinpoint and other games – free of charge for all guests.
