Svanøybukt is a meeting place for boats, locals and visitors on holiday, with a ferry stop, guest harbour, inn and grocery shop.

At Svanøy Handel you can buy local food from Svanøy Røykeri and the Norwegian Deer Centre, get free hiking maps and rent bicycles.

Svanøy

Svanøy has a rich and varied history from its days as a nobleman's seat with mining, Haugianararar and remains of the Viking Age. Svanøy Hovedgård from the 17th century, Erikstad Gard and the Norwegian Deer Centre are must-sees when you visit Svanøy. A bike ride around the island is a great experience.
