Anders Jektvik / Solo // Kulturfabrikken

Anders comes from the island of Hitra in Trøndelag, and since his breakthrough in 2012 has gained countless fans all over the country with his warm folk rock where the apt lyrics range between the dark and the humorous. Jektvik himself describes the mood he wants to convey as "a mixture of stories and a metaphorical pessimistic optimism".

In between a lot of desk work and recording, he has also held regular concerts since his last release - everything from solo concerts to large-scale performances with the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra.

"-It's innate, this, so gradually a desire and a passion force themselves to emerge. Working with the dissemination of text and music can be a curse, but when you see how well it is received, it is also a great privilege. I am very grateful for the support from fans and listeners."
