Join Kaula Burlesk for a weekend that celebrates the history, technique and expression of burlesque; from iconic glove peels to rhythmic bumps & grinds, playful tassel twists and dramatic fanwork!

This weekend is suitable for both those who are curious about burlesque and those who want to develop your stage presence and technical finesse.

About the instructor:
Kiki Chérie (Queen of Classic Burlesque 2025) is one of Norway's most experienced and renowned burlesque artists – known for her dazzling stage presence, technical precision and ability to transform each act into a story you will never forget. As Master Mentor 2025 (GLCC Las Vegas), as well as founder and principal of the Oslo School of Burlesque, she has mentored an entire generation of Norwegian and international burlesque performers, and her teaching combines classic glamour with modern power and personal depth.
She is a multi-award winning burlesque artist, producer, mentor and educator with international experience and a passion for empowerment, bodily autonomy and mischievous joy. She has built a sustainable career across performing arts, public health and teaching – and is known for creating safe, inclusive spaces where both beginners and advanced dancers can shine.
With an academic background in applied psychology and health sciences, and education in dance as a health promotion method, she combines theory and practice in a way that is both inspiring and challenging. Kiki's teaching is structured, playful and always with a twinkle in her eye, and she is particularly keen to give participants the tools for personal expression, stage presence and technical mastery.
Kiki teaches with warmth, structure and a keen eye for detail. She sees each participant, and provides precise guidance that lifts both technique and confidence. Whether you are new to burlesque or looking to hone your skills, you will gain invaluable insight and inspiration from a mentor who truly knows the craft, and the stage, inside out.
