A week for words and ideas
The Bjørnson Festival in Molde is Norway's largest literature festival with a wide-ranging program for both adults and children. Here, writers, social debaters, musicians and artists from all over the world meet for conversations, readings and performances that challenge and inspire.
Inspired by Bjørnson
The festival is named after the poet Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson, who had strong ties to Romsdal. In his spirit, the festival promotes freedom of expression, social engagement and the joy of storytelling – right in the heart of Molde.
