Christmas Legends 2025
After several years of renovation at Stavanger Cathedral, the Bishop’s Chapel is once again available for an atmospheric concert and storytelling close to Christmas. Kjell Inge Torgersen presents a relaxed and unique experience with a new legend and new music.

At the Bishop’s Chapel, Stavanger
Christmas Legends was first performed at the Bishop’s Chapel in 2009 – a small concert venue with exquisite acoustics and a unique atmosphere in the city centre. The music album Christmas Legends (2011) also originated from these performances and led to an appearance on NRK’s Kvelden før kvelden, with the song Stjernenatt reaching the A-list.
A new story is combined with new and familiar music for the Christmas season. Guitarist and arranger Aril Schøld performs alongside Kjell Inge, bringing the musical legends to life.
