Welcome to Christmas Legends: 2025! After several years of restoration work on Stavanger Cathedral, the Bishop’s Chapel is once again available for an atmospheric concert and storytelling experience in the days leading up to Christmas. Kjell Inge Torgersen invites you to a calming and distinctive event, with a new legend and new music.

IN THE BISHOP’S CHAPEL, STAVANGER
Christmas Legends was first performed in the Bishop’s Chapel in 2009 – this small concert venue with exquisite acoustics and a distinctive atmosphere, right in the city centre. The music album Christmas Legends (2011) also grew out of the performances in the chapel and resulted in an appearance on ‘The Night Before the Night’ on NRK, as well as the A-listing of the song ‘Stjernenatt’.
Come and enjoy a good, new story – and new and familiar music that belongs to Christmas. Guitarist and arranger Aril Schøld is, as always, part of the ensemble and joins Kjell Inge in shaping these musical legends.
