We are happy to continue the fine tradition of a New Year’s concert at Cornerteateret - and this year we kick off the new year with an uncompromising, energetic and truly distinctive concert experience.
Vepsestikk is a quartet from Bergen that fearlessly experiments at the crossroads of indie, punk, prog rock and jazz. With trumpets in stereo and “other wonderful oddities, vividly supported by a creative rhythm section” (Jazznytt), they create a sound that has been described as “a kind of jazz punk of the truly catchy variety” (Bergens Tidende).
