CONTORTED
CONTORTED is a death metal band from Bergen. The band draws from the old school of the genre with riffs that are as intense as they are crushing, raw self-production, unsettling melodies, and a violent soundscape. They aim to explore several branches of extreme metal, marked by a dynamic sonic expression shaped by the dark mystique and atmosphere of black metal, the uncompromising brutality of death metal, and the experimental nature of prog rock. This has made Contorted an exciting addition to the underground extreme metal scene.

Hailing from the stronghold of thrash on Karmøy, RIOTER delivers old-school thrash with progressive and technical twists. Previously named “Norwegian Thrash of the Month” in Scream Magazine and already confirmed for Karmøygeddon Metal Festival 2026, RIOTER has quickly become a band to watch. With intense live shows and a stage presence dripping with 80s nostalgia – complete with basketball shoes, bangs, and wild riffing – this is truly something to experience.
Lately, RIOTER has focused on the release of their debut album Legalized Mind Control, set to drop in early 2026. Themes such as old Lovecraft stories, digitalization, and modern warfare are accompanied by heavy and technical instrumentals, shaping up to be a powerful debut for RIOTER!
