The Sola Kite Festival is an annual public festival on the beach where the sky is filled with colourful kites of all shapes and sizes. Professional kite flyers and families who want to try their hand at kite flying come together here, and the day is characterised by play, creativity and community. The open coastal landscape provides a spectacular backdrop, and the festival has gradually become a popular gathering place for both locals and visitors.
