Erlend Ropstad - Solokonsert

It will be a different Ropstad than the powerhouse of rock he has been touring with in recent years with his band, and it will make sense that he will play some concerts like that at the country's cultural centers when you get to hear the music.

At the same time, this tour marks Erlend's 20th anniversary as an artist, and musically and in terms of format, he is returning a bit to the expression he had at the beginning, when he traveled a lot and played concerts alone with an acoustic guitar, both in Norway and throughout Europe.

In February 2006, a debut mini-album with an artist named Erlend Ropstad was released. He sounded like a singer-songwriter, wrote slightly melancholic songs in English, and many people asked themselves; do we need more of these artists here?

This is 20 years ago, when we write February 2026, which means the 20th anniversary of a success story in Norwegian music, with an artist who undoubtedly has a very own artistic expression today. Very few, if any, are able to write such Rock in Norwegian with such high quality, and a collective press corps and juries of spellemanns have consistently backed that claim.

He has slowly built up a loyal following across the country in the good old way; writing good songs that people embrace and playing many concerts. There has been a four-digit number of concerts during these 20 years and this winter he will add about 40 new ones, with a solo tour that covers the entire country, practically all counties, small and large cities.
