A screening of the classic Mongoland takes place just days before Christmas.
The film has enjoyed overwhelming popularity at previous showings at Tou.
Mongoland hardly requires an introduction, but a short summary can be given for newcomers: The low-budget film by Arild Østin Ommundsen was groundbreaking for Stavanger as a film city when it premiered in 2001. The cast, then film students, have since become some of the biggest acting names in Norway and the Nordic countries. Mongoland is a warm and very funny film with a unique place in the city’s film history.
It is tradition.
