The Kyiv Grand Ballet invites you to Hans Christian Andersen's classic tale The Snow Queen. With beautiful music, spectacular stage sets and ballet dancing, the ensemble takes the audience on a journey through icy landscapes and magical worlds, where friendship and love overcome even the greatest obstacles.
The story follows Gerda as she embarks on a courageous journey to rescue her best friend Kai from the Snow Queen's frozen grip. Along the way, she encounters trolls, robbers and mysterious creatures, but her courage and warmth eventually melt the ice in Kai's heart. The performance was created in collaboration with choreographer Alexander Abdukarimov and composer Tuomas Kantelinen.

The Snow Queen lasts 2 hours, including a 20-minute intermission.
