One of the country's most beloved bands is finally coming to the Ingebrigt Davik House! This will be a unique chance to experience the rockers from Ål in Hallingdal in free dressage in the main hall. Welcome!

During their 35 years on the road, Hellbillies have been a steady supplier of songs to the Norwegian song treasury. With 18 album releases, a long list of classics and with several thousand concerts played all over the country, the band has remained in the top echelon of Norwegian music life.

Hellbillies has been honored and respected for its ability to fuse American and Norwegian musical traditions, and yet with a distinctive touch. Not least, the lyrics of one of the founders of the band, Arne Moslåtten, have had great significance. With originality and high literary quality, they have, together with the music of Aslag Haugen and Lars Haavard Haugen, become style creators and an important part of Norwegian cultural life. This has made Hellbillies a role model for many artists within their genre, and where new generations are constantly discovering the band's song catalog.

The band receives fantastic feedback from both audiences and critics, and recognition has come in so many different forms; from the Spellemann Prize's honorary award, "Spellemann of the Year", awards from the Norwegian Music Association, the Norwegian Artists' Association, the Prøysen Prize and the Medaas Prize, to brilliant reviews of both albums and concerts.
