What happens when a clown finds something completely new, something it neither knows what it is called nor how to use? What is it is a warm, funny and curious performance that invites children on a journey of discovery full of sound, music and imagination.

Unfortunately, going on a journey of discovery is something we stop doing as we get older. Children, on the other hand, explore the world with a natural curiosity and an ability to investigate everything they come across. Finding something, wondering what it does and trying it out, that is childhood itself. And that is also the core of clown life.

In What is it? we meet two clowns who stumble upon a drum without realizing that it is a drum. Then a harmonica. And a horn. Is there something on their head? A chair? A strange hat? Does it make a sound? You have to try it.

The performance is a fun and playful journey of discovery in the world of music, where imagination and laughter are allowed to rule the show. Together with the children, the clowns try out strange instruments and create little musical moments. There are no performance requirements or stress, just pure joy of trying, discovering and creating something together.
