After years of grand Kaizers Orchestra shows on the country’s biggest stages, Janove now takes a step back, inviting audiences to intimate concerts alone at the grand piano. In November, December, and January, four exclusive evenings offer a rare chance to hear his songs in their most stripped-down form. One night only.
“There is a special magic in playing the songs as they were created—at the piano, in their purest form. Sharing both the music and the stories behind it may give listeners new perspectives on old and new songs,” says Janove.
With a career spanning more than two decades, Janove has built a catalogue that allows great variation: the full Kaizers catalogue, six critically acclaimed solo albums, and the symphonic Hedda Award-winning The Mute. This year’s repertoire spans his entire musical journey, promising a personal and close concert experience with one of Norway’s most distinctive artists.
