Jenny Frøysa’s Artful Ensemble (JFAE) is Jenny Frøysa’s own band, where she explores how visual art and political issues can be used as inspiration for creating music. The aim is both to comment on our time and to let the music stand on its own.
This spring, JFAE is heading out on a release tour for their debut album Pauline Boty: Bring Her Out!, which explores the pop art of Pauline Boty. Musically, the expression is firmly rooted in jazz, with influences from both free jazz and pop music.
