Chamber music after-party is the free, playful evening at the Ålesund Chamber Music Festival. After a day of intense concerts, we turn the music a little sideways and invite you to a lighter and more unexpected program – a musical respite where innovation meets the joy of playing. Here you will hear Henning Sommerro together with the rest of this year's festival musicians in an intimate chamber music setting, but with lower shoulders and a higher surprise factor. The evening offers genre crossings, small collaborations that can only occur this week, and strange musical shortcuts you didn't know existed. Come as you are, listen with open senses, and let yourself be surprised. The program is varied, the tone is unceremonious, and the atmosphere is completely unique – an after-party created by musicians, for music-loving people. On February 7, 2026 at 9:00 PM, we open the doors for an hour and fifteen minutes of magic, laughter, improvisation and golden-eyed twinkling.
