Why are we so sick in Norway? Are we unable to tolerate the natural fluctuations of life, or do we live in a disease-causing society? Shouldn't all of medicine, science and technology have made us a healthier and happier population?

The general practitioner of all of Norway, Kaveh Rashidi, is back with a new lecture – an engaging and thought-provoking journey through the history, science and philosophy behind the major health challenges we see in Norway.

With knowledge, humor and a sharp eye on society, Rashidi asks the questions we should all reflect on. From Hippocrates to biohacking, from ancient diet regimens to today's health industry – this lecture will challenge the way you view your own health.

We measure, count and monitor our bodies with apps and health checks. Yet we are sicker than we have been in decades. Is it even possible to become completely healthy, or have we created an illusion of what it means to be a healthy person?

Kaveh Rashidi is a specialist in general medicine, a best-selling author and one of Norway's most profiled health communicators. He is a regular columnist in Aftenposten and host of the podcast Fastlegen. Rashidi has received a number of awards for his work, including the Norwegian Medical Association's award for General Practitioner of the Year. He has been a prominent voice in the Norwegian public for over a decade – both as a public debater, speaker and communicator of medical knowledge in a way that resonates with most people.
