THIS YEAR'S CONCERT WITH KRISTIANSUND BIG BAND
For many years now, Kristiansund Big Band has had themed concerts on its spring program. Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington have been presented with local vocalists and newly written big band arrangements.

This spring it is Burt Bacharach's turn. The man who only sprinkled big hits out of his sleeve, but who never deviated from the requirement for quality. At this year's concert, the audience will hear many of his great hits, but also more unknown gems. Bacharach's collaboration with lyricist Hal David is well known, while for many Bacharach's collaboration with rock poet Elvis Costello may be more unfamiliar. In any case, you will hear lyrics by both at the concert on Saturday, March 21st!
