Putti Plutti Pott is a Norwegian Christmas musical written and composed by Per Asplin in 1969. The show is about the little elf Putti Plutti Pott who steals Santa Claus's Christmas beard. Without the Christmas beard, there can be no Christmas, and the adventure follows the attempt to get it back.

The musical was first shown as a television production on NRK in 1969 and has since developed into a nationwide Christmas tradition, both in a touring version and in local productions. With its well-known songs and its warm humor, Putti Plutti Pott has become a classic that brings together several generations at Christmas.
