The permanent artwork Hardanger Skyspace was made by the American artist James Turrell
With an octagonal form, a hole in the roof and seating for 18 people, this artwork provides a different experience of colour, sky, space and light.
At sunrise and sunset, the space is filled with coloured light that changes your perception of the sky.
You will be astounded and amazed by what you see!
The weather conditions and seasons influence the experience, so every visit is unique.
