What is a treasure? Gold, diamonds and mountains of money? Or something far more valuable and precious, something right in front of us?
Katrín Ósk Jóhannsdóttir is an Icelandic author and mother who wants to teach children to find gratitude in the small things and to view life with a positive mindset. This Sunday she will be visiting Søndagsbarn for a reading session and a family workshop where children can make their own crown. Welcome to a cosy time together with your treasures.

Katrín has previously published several children’s and young adult books in Iceland. Mum’s Treasure is her first publication in Norwegian, a translation of the Icelandic book Mömmugull.
From 3 years.

Free tickets are released one week before the event. It is also possible to turn up without a ticket and see if there are any available places, even if the event is sold out.

Søndagsbarn is one of Sølvberget’s most popular programmes for children, offering author visits, concerts, theatre, storytelling, dance and lots of other fun throughout the year.

Parts of the book and author description are taken from the publisher Publica.
