A humorous journey through life’s small everyday joys. Much of what surrounds us is taken for granted—oxygen, stairs, lampposts, roofs, and silence. They simply exist. Occasionally, one of these steps forward for a few seconds and reveals itself. When the fridge finally rests, attention turns to the silence.
Jakob Oftebro and Odd-Magnus Williamson explore the lesser-known delights, the subtle moments that spark small flashes of joy: the click when a foot slides into a ski boot, the indicator flashing in sync with the car ahead, removing the film from a new screen, tightening a freshly stuffed sleeping bag, a fart under the duvet, or a fully opened pistachio. Waiting for life’s biggest joys makes life harder—births, tropical islands, or weddings are rare experiences.
Kilder til Begeistring inspires noticing the joys already present in everyday life. Small sources of delight may not be grand, but they are abundant.
